Download Ditaro

Pick the build for your operating system. Ditaro is portable — unpack and run. There is no installer, no auto-updater, no background service, and no PATH change.

Current release: 1.11.0. Each download is roughly 120–230 MB; the bundled Java runtime accounts for most of that.

Linux

What you'll notice

The download is a few hundred megabytes. That's the bundled Java runtime; you don't need to install Java separately.
First launch may take a moment while the JVM warms up. Subsequent launches are quick.
Nothing is added to your PATH, your registry, your launch agents, or your start menu beyond what you explicitly place there.
Ditaro keeps one preferences file in your user-config directory (recent projects, window position, that sort of thing). Uninstall by deleting the application folder; remove that file too if you want no trace at all.
